HOLY CERAP.

BLACK HEAD REMOVAL PRODUCTS ARE WASTE.

I BOUGHT SOOO MANY BLACK HEAD REMOVAL PRODUCTS FOR MY EFFIN FACE.

THERE EFFIN NO DIFFERENCE, MAYBE LEEETLE BUT NOT MUCH.

I USED BIORE, CLEAN N CLEAR BLACK HEAD ERASER, BLACK HEAD PADS, NEUTROGENA, OXY, N SO MUCH MORE 4GOT THE NAMES

I PREFER YOU BUY A FACE WASH AND CLEAN UR FACE, AND MAKE HOME REMEDIES FOR IT. REMEMBER THIS PLZZZ *DO NOT SCRUB TOO MUCH ON UR BLACK HEADS
References :
Most of those will likely not work very well, or as the other person said, would work for a day or two but then could not be used again for many days as they are quite harsh and drying.

I've tried the Biore strips, and all they do is pull your skin, leading to irritation and can easily just break you out. I've tried the Biore Pore Scrub, and it broke me out and irritated my skin (I believe because of the menthol).

In my opinion, a good way to help diminish how many blackheads appear on your skin is to find a gentle cleanser, two good AM and PM moisturizers, a very gentle (and possibly hydrating) exfoliator once or twice a week, and a clay/oil control mask on the affected area once or twice a week. I've seen good reviews for the Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Mask, but I'm also skeptical about trying it myself because it contains menthol (which I am sensitive to for the most part). I've also actually read about people using calamine lotion spread on the area for 5-10 minutes and rinsing it off and getting results, so maybe you can try that if you have any lying around.

One thing that I actually find most effective is upping my water intake. Whenever I actually take the time to drink a good amount of water (so a large glass every few hours), my blackheads start to fade and disappear. Not completely, but they fade more so than they do when I use actual products. Seeing as water is basically something that you can get for free from your tap, I suggest trying that out first for a few weeks to see if your blackheads get any lesser or not, then look into other products.

If you want to find reviews for things, I love makeupalley.com, and temptalia.com sometimes posts up reviews of products (although because the blogger is American, not all products are available in Canada), and totalbeauty.com can sometimes be slightly helpful. I also will just google the name of the product and go to other blogs to read reviews.
References :
http://www.makeupalley.com
