Does popping pimples affect every ones skin equally?
November 5th, 2009
Truth be told, I always pop zits whenever they are spotted. And everyone always tells me the horrors of my actions. The thing is, I’ve been a "popper" in middle school and all throughout high school and never once has it resulted in a scar or an infection.
Is it wrong to assume that my skin is immune to the dangers of pimple popping? Or should I be more careful?
-sorry if this grosses anyone out :
My teacher told of of a friend in college – she died of a brain infection after popping a pimple on her forehead.
To answer your question, there are different skin types. Some people will scar terribly whenever the skin is broken. Others can be more like you. And, yes, you should be more careful.
